I would prefer that they just call Obama the N-word and get it over with

I’m tired of the accusations that Barack Obama is not a citizen of the United States that are being passed around by email.  Obama is an American Citizen. Duh!?!?!  What major political party is going to take a chance like that on a non-citizen?  Both Obama’s and McCain’s citizenship has been called into question…and they are both citizens.

McCain qualifies, too, although the circumstances of his birth — on a U.S. naval base in the Panama Canal Zone in 1936 — were unusual enough to merit a review. – AP

Oh, but people have gone as far as to sue in court wanting Obama to produce “proof” and the birth certificate that has been presented…they are calling it fake.  If he was white would this be happening?  When has this ever happened in the last 20 years, 30 years with regard to a presidential candidate?  Um…as a citizen there are a lot of things that I would love to just be able to sue and have President Bush give me “proof” of.  It that going to happen.  NO.  You can’t just sue elected officials for their personal records.  OH…I guess you can if the elected official is black.

Candidates meet “natural born” tests despite rumors – AP Wire – I have seen a number of right wing blogs noting just the opposite.  I have even see allegations that are said to have been made by Barack’s grandmother in Kenya regarding Obama being birthed in Kenya.  OK, you know it’s serious when they put your grandmother’s name in it.

All of this drama has one central cause.  Some people in America are so racist that they will come up with ANYTHING they can think of to help to ensure that a black man will never be President.

Don’t call him a terrorist. Dont’ imply that he is a muslim or of arab decent (if I was a muslim I would be having post-9/11 flashbacks right now).  Obama is a Christian.  How can you bring up his Christian pastor over and over again and then say he’s a Muslim.  Contradiction!!!  It’s like “muslim” is a dirty word or a horrible thing to be for some people during this election cycle.  I guess the Right doesn’t care about American Muslims and Arab Americans that vote.

Just go ahead and pull out the “big gun” (so to speak).  The N-word. Don’t beat around the bush.  Just go there.  That’s what many of you are doing behind closed doors anyway.  You know who you are!  You would never, ever vote for a black man for president of the United States.  You know what you really feel and what you would really say if you weren’t trying to be politically correct. I can at least accept that people who are openly racist have been doing so with abandon.  They don’t hide behind masks (hoods maybe) of faux-righteousness.  See, like most black people, I want to know where you stand if you’re racist.  It just clears the air and makes things simple and plain.  Hate is hate…you can’t whitewash it with politics.

All I’m saying is forget citizenship, Ayers, Rev. Wright…etc.  Just call him a Nigger like you really want to.  Let’s all be open and honest with it.

Katina Victims File Claims Against the Fed. Govt.

Roughly 489,000 claims have been filed against the federal government over damage from the failure of levees and flood walls following Hurricane Katrina – and one of the plaintiffs is seeking damages in the quadrillions. Seriously.

According to the Associated Press, a person from Baker, La. is seeking $3,014,170,389,176,410, which amounts to a little over $3 quadrillion dollars, to compensate for troubles ever since the Aug. 29, 2005, hurricane rolled through.

Of roughly 489,000 total claims, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said it has received 247 for at least $1 billion apiece, including the one for $3 quadrillion.

Some residents may have grossly exaggerated their claims to send a message to the corps, which has accepted blame for poorly designing the failed levees.

“I understand the anger,” Scott said. “I also understand it’s a negotiating tactic: Aim high and negotiate down.”

Daniel Becnel, Jr., a lawyer who said his clients have filed more than 60,000 claims, said measuring Katrina’s devastation in dollars and cents is a nearly impossible task.

“There’s no way on earth you can figure it out,” he said. “The trauma these people have undergone is unlike anything that has occurred in the history of our country.”

The corps released zip codes, but no names, for the 247 claims of at least $1 billion. The list includes a $77 billion claim by the city of New Orleans. Fourteen involve a wrongful death claim. Fifteen were filed by businesses, including several insurance companies.
